"The Land of Broken Dreams" by Steve Paled (Instrumental Artist from Las Vegas, NV)

The beautiful album, "The Land of Broken Dreams," by Stave Paled is brimming with delicate and dreamy New Age piano compositions. Paled takes his melodies and embeds them with relaxing and genuine heartfelt qualities which stirs your emotions with warm and inviting sincerity. He charms the listener with his crisp and soothing piano as he gracefully performs with a polished style and grace. The opener/title track, "The Land of Broken Dreams," is elegant as the piano deftly glides across the keys with a sweet and refined precision. "Every time I Close My Eyes I See Your Face," is another tune where the piano soothes the mind and caresses the soul. Ending the album is the track, "Friends," as the piano is rich and burns with passionate tonality. "The House Jazz Concert Series, Volume 1" by Dave Powers (Jazz Artist From Ohio)

The enchanting album, "The House Jazz Concert Series, Vol. 1" by Dave Powers is a collection of Jazz songs played live - in Dave's house no less - by piano, guitar, and drums that have a vibrant, yet genially relaxed energy. "The 'In' Crowd" is a toe-tapping, foot-shuffling song with a soulful energy. "Jitterbug Waltz" is a mellow Jazz waltz with almost mysterious-sounding piano playing along with soft drum brushes and subtle guitar hits. For "Joy Spring" we have a softly spirited Jazz song in which the electric guitar delightfully takes the lead as the piano and drums create a sweet and colorful sound-scape. This album is filled with highly entertaining Jazz songs that definitely have the familiar feel of an impromptu performance while still being overtly professional. If you are a fan of Jazz piano in any form, then "The House Jazz Concert Series, Vol. 1." by Dave Powers is an album you would definitely enjoy.

Family fun and entertainment is just what Lanny Sherwin delivers on his newest CD, "Meltdown." Although geared towards children between the ages of 4-12, everyone will enjoy these wonderful pop songs, with their catchy melodies and lightly sprinkled country influences. Sherwin's lyrics are as encouraging & wise as they are humorous. For instance, in the title track, "Meltdown," he effectively sings about anger & connects to his young listeners with the wisdom of his advice. Lively and upbeat, "Granny's Got a Guitar" is not only funny but has a catchy, rock feel to it. "A Cappella, Part 3" shines with its fantastic harmonies in a song that celebrates the life of a musician. Sherwin has a gifted insight into the mind of a child and he uses his music to inspire a positive attitude, but it's his motto that really sums up his ability to relate to his audience on their level: "Don't Drive Parents Crazy." If you're looking for something new and original for the kids to hear, then pop in the CD "Meltdown" and before you know it they will be singing along.
